The Innovation Fund Design Award supports student entrepreneurs to design and begin to execute their initial product development plan. The funds should be used to validate feasibility ("Can the product/service be built?") assumptions.

If you are not a selected recipient, you can reapply for the award as long as you continue to meet the eligibility criteria; however, if selected, you can only receive the award once for each venture. Winners of the Design Award can submit a new application for a new venture. If you win an Design Award, you cannot then receive a Discover Award for the same venture.

Note that you can apply for only one type of Innovation Fund award (Discover, Design, Build, or Boost) per application cycle.
