The Snider Consulting Program is a competitive experiential learning program that brings together talented graduate students from across the University of Pennsylvania to work on semester-long consulting engagements with startups and growth-stage ventures. Guided by experienced Program Advisors, participants develop consulting, leadership, and client management skills while delivering meaningful strategic insights to real organizations.
Participation in Snider Consulting is an educational experience intended to complement your academic studies. It is not employment, but rather a co-curricular learning opportunity designed to provide practical experience aligned with your educational and professional interests. This position is solely for your educational interest without promise or expectation of compensation.
As a participant, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Time Commitment
- You will dedicate approximately 7–10 hours per week throughout the academic year to your consulting project, team meetings, client meetings, and program activities.
- While the program will make reasonable efforts to accommodate academic obligations, participants are expected to manage their schedules to fulfill all program responsibilities.
- We anticipate your participation will continue through May 15, 2027, although program dates may be adjusted if necessary.
Required Program Meetings
Participation in the following program activities is mandatory:
- Weekly Graduate Program Meeting
- Thursdays - first meeting on September 24th
- 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.
- Attendance is required unless excused in advance by the Program Advisor.
- These meetings are an essential component of the educational experience and include professional development, project reviews, advisor and peer coaching, and program announcements. Regular attendance is an expectation of every participant.
- Kickoff Training and Meetings
- September 16th and September 17th (time TBD)
Required Program Events
Snider Consultant students are expected to attend the following required events:
- Dinner with Program Advisor (Date TBD)
- End of Year celebration dinner, includes graduate and undergrad Snider teams (scheduled for Tuesday, April 6th 2027 from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
- Joiner showcase - (scheduled for Wednesday, April 7th 2027 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Optional
There is a Spring workshop and visit to Boston Consultant Group. The date will be shared once it becomes available.
