About Venture Lab Practicum
Practicum is a Joiner Pathway program that provides Penn students across all schools with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by contributing to projects with early-stage ventures from the Penn venture ecosystem. Students apply and interview with founders, and if matched, commit approximately 7–10 hours per week over the course of the semester.
Students will have an opportunity to support student founders of early-stage ventures potentially playing multiple roles as part of a small team and gaining insight into the behind-the-scenes processes at an early-stage company.
Students commit to joining a project with a venture for one semester (approximately 8-10 weeks). Additionally, Practicum Joiners have an opportunity to participate in the inaugural Joiner Showcase in the late Spring.
All positions are temporary and unpaid. Students may resubmit an application to work with another venture the following semester. Venture Lab Practicum is offered only in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Applicants must be currently enrolled Penn students. International students are welcome to apply.
