Tangen Hall is open to all Penn students with an active Penn ID card Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 9 PM, excluding holidays and during suspension of normal operations.
This application for Venture Lab membership is for Penn students who have an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. Membership includes after-hours access to Tangen Hall. To be eligible to apply, an applicant must be a student currently enrolled in a degree program at Penn with a valid PennKey.
If approved, your Venture Lab membership benefits include:
Access to Tangen Hall 7 days/week from 7 AM to 2 AM ET (Fall & Spring semesters) or 7 AM to 10 PM ET (Summer semester), excluding holidays and during suspension of normal operations by Penn (subject to change).
Access to Venture Lab Slack workspace
Access to the Spaces App to reserve rooms available to Venture Lab members in Tangen Hall.
Access to the Canvas site for The Studios @ Venture Lab for:
Safety Training to use the Fabrication Studios
3D Printer Training
Laser Cutter Training
NOTE: Building access to Tangen Hall and the ability to reserve rooms via the Spaces App are usually granted within 15 business days of membership approval.
